2003 Caldecott Medal Winner - The appealing story of the friendship of Mouse and Rabbit.

More info / Similar itemsUKCanada

Rabbit has a natural talent for getting into trouble. He launches Mouses's toy airplane, with Mouse in it, and gets the plane stuck in a tree. Rabbit runs off promising to be back to rescue his friend. The plan is to create an animal pyramid, which of course collaspes just before reaching Mouse. The text is minimal; it's the illustrations that make the book work.
