This novel is an amusing satirical romance of eccentric knight-errantry in La Mancha, central Spain. It follows the adventures of Don Quixote and his rustic companion, Sancho Panza, and the absurdly directed chivalry of the former.

About the Author:
Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (1547-1616) , the son of a poor Spanish surgeon, achieved enormous success with the publication of the first part of Don Quixote in 1605.
